How they work

Potent’s pari-mutuel powered games offer casino style games – such as Slots, Match3, and scratcher games that cater to a broad demographic of casual players – by replacing the RNG in these games with pari-mutuel wagering outcomes. Customer wagers are placed directly into the live pari-mutuel pools in the U.S. (and around the world) with the outcome of those wagers being paid through the interface of the casino style game.

Potent Real Money Casino Games - Game Play Sequence

  1. Customer Buys Game Pack
    Customer chooses game from selection of Match 3, Slots or Lottery games and chooses a package amount anywhere from $2 – $50 (Packages range from 2 “game rounds” to 50 ‘game rounds’).
  2. Wagers Placed
    Potent takes the funds from the game package Purchase and algorithmically places wagers into the next available live race at the racetrack. A countdown is presented to the customer as to when the game package will be available to play.
  3. Race Results
    When the live race ends, Potent receives the winnings from the wagers placed at the track and uses those winnings to power the outcome of the game package. At this point, the game package becomes “Available for Play” for the customer.
  4. Game Play
    The customer then begins playing the game package, with each “game round” powered by the winning wagers from the race results. The total winning wagers are algorithmically divided amongst the total “game rounds” in the package to produce the per round outcomes for the player.
  5. Game Package Completed
    When the customer completes the entire game Package, the total winnings from the game package will match the winnings from the original track wagers placed by Potent. The customer is then free to purchase another package and the cycle begins again.

Virtual Sports

In addition to our wide variety of casino style games, Potent also offers a wide selection of Virtual Sport games whose outcomes are also all derived from the outcome of live pari-mutuel wagers. These games are simplified pari-mutuel wager games, making them easier and more accessible than traditional pari-mutuel horse wagering, with the focus on appealing to as broad a demographic as possible.
